Branding & Promotions Coordinator

Our client is a leader in FMCG / Liquor Industry; owning and operating duty free travel retail shops at airports and seaports worldwide, as well as involving in brand development, marketing, and sales. The company is headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, operating through a network of offices and warehouses in Africa, Asia, and Europe.


1. Branding and Promotions Coordinator

1. To analyze location stock in hand, dead stock, slow moving items and create promotions to move stocks at location, in liaison with the location/retail/operations manager.

2. To understand and gather retail outlet’s promotional requirements and coordinate with graphic designers and merchandisers for the execution.

3. Successful planning and implementation of promotional campaigns. To dispatch POP material/collateral as per initiative requirements.

4. Responsible for Pre and post promotion evaluation of promotional activities.

5. Responsible for Planning and implementation of promotional campaigns especially in festive season.

6. Kickoff the development of any promotional products including decorations for end caps.

7. To deal and manage with third party vendors for merchandising activities, production of POP material/collateral and negotiate with them for quotes.

8. To prepare necessary reports highlighting the performance and the number of activities in the assigned zones.

9. To manage all the documentation related to collateral purchase and dispatch.

10. To manage all the information related to budgets allocated and spent on promotional initiatives

11. Quantified tracking of consumer groups and their purchase frequency/quantity. Observe patterns of repeat buying that may lead to product groupings or focus for new product introductions.


12. Tracking competitor’s moves, gathering market feedback and helping determine appropriate positioning and feature to gain competitive advantage in a targeted segment.

13. To identify different mode of promotions, analyze and finalize the best medium of promotions by looking at the past promotion activities, cost benefit analysis of different options, consumer behavior and overall branding strategy.

14. Liaising with a number of internal functions like compliance as well as vendors such as agencies, producers, processors, printers as well as other related external parties who might be involved. Also uphold the corporate identity guidelines and ensure and facilitate compliance by all functions.

15. To identify branding opportunities at location and co-ordinate with HO, to implement the same.

16. Liaison with brand owners as and when required.

17. To co-ordinate with the brand owners in regards with A&P at locations, and space selling as available at locations.

18. To create brand awareness, through various promotional activities.

19. To maximize revenues from brand owners by way of selling branding space,

Requirements and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing with previous experience of implementing brand strategy in preferably FMCG background.
• An understanding of sales and promotion techniques and effective practices;

Experience:
3 years
